Suryia Swims!: The True Story of How an Orangutan Learned to Swim Reviews
This is an adorable book about a most unusual friendship. Beautiful.
I purchased this gift for my 7yr. old grandaughter. She is very interested in animals and already declares that one day she will be a teacher. Her major past time is reading so I am always on the look out for books as gifts. I found this one in Amazon's children recommendations.
I love the books on Suryia & Roscoe. I bought the first one and just adore the relationship between a dog and an orangutan. It is a priceless relationship. I bought this book because it follows up on their very special bonding. I want these books for my two grandchildren when they get a little older. They are learning the love of animals now and have 5 cats in their home. The pictures are worth a thousand words. It is such a beautiful bonding between the animals and shows how special they really are. I just think everyone should own these books, whether they have kids or not. I just wish humans could learn from these special creatures that GOD made. If ONLY----
I'm going to keep this review simple: if you like adorable animals being photographed doing adorable things and/or you just enjoy smiling every now and then, you will love this book. How could anyone NOT fall in love with a cute dog & orangutan?!
I purchased this book for a friends' 3 children. They LOVE the beautiful photographs and enjoyed the story very much.
We love the Suryia books. So cute and we have a dog named Roscoe in our family. Shows how everyone can get along no matter their differences.
The companion book to Suryia and Roscoe, is quite delightful. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders that I have read the book to, thoroughly enjoy it.
Fantastic story about an absolutely wonderful animal!
